Things that I love
I remember passing over a book in Barnes&Nobles(I love you guys. give me a deal) and seeing "Stuff that White People Like" and then I wondered, where is my African American people loving stuff? Pause... think of how sensitive the African American Culture may be on this subject. It could go two ways: 1. a big hit, following with t-shirts and baby bibs a la What Would Jesus Do? or 2. A big ol Hullabaloo that will drive me under a rock.
I had to do it

This Florida Sun

I can't tell you how envious I am of every Northerner who experiences cold weather soon. Scouring the web for the perfect coat and flat bo ots.
So I am limited to accessories, cooling accessories at that. I digress.
I am a lady raised by lycra and denim. Where it's "cool" to be overly flirtatious. A bombshell or a siren. I am sure you all can imagine women who fit this character.
When is there a progressive period where nudity and/or crassness is frowned upon. Apparently, sex is selling more and more these days.
So to tie these two concerns of mine into a beautiful dissertation, I bring this question to your attention. How do I style myself so I am relieved of this continuous heat and humidity while keeping my personal, funky style in place?
via .. drawing a blank.
So while you northerners are enjoying your wool capes in plaid and gray colors. I'll still be looking at rompers. le sigh.

Giles RTW Spring 2009

Giles RTW Spring 2009
Giles Deacon, a graduate of Central Saint Martins allowed me indulge in my love for Electricity. I like to label myself as an Electric Hippie. I love the sharp designs and deconstructed looks of his pieces along with the monochromatic Victoria Beckham crispness provided. There were crazy cool helmets that made the models resembles shapely Mrs. PacMans and Darth Vaders. Having tailored wool dresses and jersey shifts would transform any women with spanx into a powerful sex-kitten; all eyes will be on her.
I can't wait to recreate these looks with some vintage pieces and platform strappy heels.
INtroduction way overdue
I've moved to Florida. I've lived a bit before. Who am I, you ask? I am a Gossip Girl, Project Runway, Rachel Zoe, Nasty Gal Vintage(among other things), fan!
As I embark on a culture shock and discover what the world has to offer, I'll document my newsworthy findings.
